Why do we use FedEx Delivery Service?
We are restricted to which courier service we can use due to the nature of our products. The majority of the parcels we sent out contain poles which makes them a very long boxed parcel. Within the courier industry this is classed as 'ugly freight' as it does not fit on conveyor belts and in parcel cages. Whilst many couriers will allow a small percentage (under 10%) to be delivered on a standard contract, they will not allow the much higher percentage that we deliver (50%+). FedEx are unique in that they do accept contracts with higher 'ugly freight' volume.
