This website ("website") is operated by Gardiner Pole Systems Ltd (GPS). This privacy policy only covers information collected at this website, and does not cover any information collected offline by GPS. All GPS websites are covered by this privacy policy.

Your contact information includes information such as billing address, delivery address, email address, telephone numbers and any other information you have given to us for the purpose of communication or meeting.

Transaction data includes details about payments or communications to and from you and information about products and services you have purchased from us.

Technical data includes your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

Your profile includes information such as your username, purchases or orders made by you – we cannot view or change your password.

Others With Whom We Share Your Information.

The GPS Group: All of the above information that we collect, as described above, may be shared among all GPS entities, including GPS Distrubtors and GPS stores, website and Private Sales.

Service Providers: We also may disclose information to outside companies that help us bring you the products and services we offer. For example, we may work with an outside company to: (a) manage a database of customer information; (b) assist us in distributing emails; (c) assist us with direct marketing and data collection; (d) provide us storage and analysis; (d) provide fraud prevention; (e) provide warranty repair services; and (f) provide other services designed to assist us in maximizing our business potential. We require that these outside companies agree to keep confidential all information we share with them and to use the information only to perform their obligations in our agreements with them.

Other Companies: We will never provide information to other outside companies in order to advertise or promote extra services to you

Business Transitions: We may transfer or share a copy of personal information about you in the event that GPS or one of its properties, affiliates, or subsidiaries goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to interfere with the ability of GPS to transfer all or part of its business and/or assets to an affiliate or independent third party at any time, for any purpose, without any limitation whatsoever.

GPS specifically reserves the right to transfer or share a copy of personally identifiable information collected from its websites to the buyer of that portion of its business relating to that information.

8. Information we process because we have a legal obligation

Sometimes, we must process your information in order to comply with a statutory obligation.

For example, we may be required to give information to legal authorities if they so request or if they have the proper authorisation such as a search warrant or court order.

9. Complaints regarding content on our website

If you complain about any of the content on our website, we shall investigate your complaint.

Payment information is never taken by us or transferred to us either through our website or otherwise for online payment transactions. Our employees and contractors never have access to payment infromation for any payments made via our webiste. 

At the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website of [WorldPay / SagePay / PayPal / Braintree / Stripe] or some other reputable payment service provider. That page may be branded to look like a page on our website, but it is not controlled by us.

When you contact us, whether by telephone, through our website or by e-mail, we collect the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need.

We record your request and our reply in order to increase the efficiency of our business.

14. Information we obtain from third parties

We do not obtain information from third parties, our only interaction with third parties is to share your information with couriers in order to fulfil your delivery requirements.

 

15. Information we obtain from CCTV when visiting our premises

  15.1 The Company and its independent storage use CCTV for the following purposes:

      15.1.1 To provide a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors

      15.1.2 To prevent the loss of or damage to the Company buildings  and/or assets

      15.1.3 To assist in the prevention of crime and assist law enforcement      agencies in apprehending offenders

  15.2 The Company will only disclose recorded CCTV images to third parties where it is permitted to do so in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation.

  15.3 A copy of our CCTV policy and it’s associated privacy impact assessments are available on request.

 It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please adjust your account data when appropriate.
